Every few weeks, the VLP will be highlighting a video from the VLP’s Self-Help center. The VLP and its partners created these educational videos to help community members (like you!) learn more about the legal system in Spokane and feel more prepared for court.
This week, the VLP is highlighting its Legalese video series. Legalese is the language used in legal documents and courtrooms that is often hard to understand. In the VLP’s 3-part video series on Legalese, the viewer will learn about common terms used describing people that are in the courtroom, things you might do or hear in a legal proceeding, and things that might happen in and outside the courtroom.
